Head on over to HockeyUT for the best HUT coins deals and discounts available today! NHL 22 has been out for a few months now, but there are still some major issues in the game that need to be ironed out. We normally expect EA to release their monthly title update sooner, but so far the NHL 22 February 1.32 update hasn't arrived. You can find the details for NHL update 1.31 here, and we hope the next one follows that numbering system.
This is not because there are no things to fix, as a quick look at EA Answers HQ for NHL 22 will illustrate the persistent issues players are facing. One player is having significant issues with HUT Rush where goals are not registering and another said that the same issue has been happening to him intermittently and others have faced the issue as well.
Franchise Mode is always a fan favorite, but a number of players are seeing the entire mode constantly crash and ruin their hard work. Several users are also reporting issues starting offline matches where the screen goes black at the start of the game, which could be related to an issue with players turning on HDR while playing.
These are just a sample of the most talked about issues on EA Answers, but judging from some of the answers, the issues seem to be much more widespread than those posted on that forum. Hopefully some of them will be resolved and clearly identified when the NHL 22 February Update 1.32 patch notes are revealed.
NHL 22 update could finally add women's teams
NHL 22 caused quite a stir late last year when it announced its collaboration with the IIHF and the imminent arrival of the men's, women's and youth national teams. Some of that content has already arrived, with the Women's National Teams revealed to be coming in "early 2022." We've officially reached that year, but a lack of clarity means its intended release window could be as far away as March 2022.
